Michael Caines has made his nationwide reputation on the celebration of local and seasonal produce. After three decades of experience cooking in Devon at all levels, from two-star Michelin to café-bar and gastro pub, he has an unrivalled network of suppliers who bring the best and freshest seasonal foods direct to our door. Naturally fish and shellfish landed at Exmouth docks, and at fishing ports along our Southwest coast, take pride, but equally important are local meats and poultry that have been humanely and sustainably raised, just-picked vegetables, seasonal fruit, and of course the outstanding range of dairy products that Devon is so famous for.

Mickeys Beach by night transforms itself into the place you want to be, with Mickeys Beats from our resident DJ, while food and local drink is served to keep you well fed and watered. With Mickeys famous Midnight pizzas ready for that late night bite!
At Mickeys Beach Bar you can enjoy local fish from the docks and local meats cooked on the chargoal grill, pizza cooked in our state-of-the-art revolving pizza oven, spit-roasted chicken fresh off the rôtisserie, salads, burgers, ribs, local beer battered fish & chips, and more. Or just drop in for evening cocktails or to spin out a bottle of wine.
If Mickeys Beach Bar downstairs is laid-back beachside, come and join us upstairs at Mickeys Beach Restaurant where the atmosphere is just as fun and informal and where the views are even better. Whether from our main dining room with panoramic windows overlooking Lyme Bay, or from our spacious terrace with its fully retractable roof, there is no better place in Exmouth from which to admire our incredible coastline while dining on fabulous food.
Settle in, enjoy a fabulous meal, and admire that wonderful view from Mickeys restaurant on the first floor. Our chefs expertly grill Devon Red Ruby steaks as well as pork, lamb and fish over our charcoal grill. Chickens are spit-roasted over hot coals. Lobster and crab are gathered by local fishermen from pots laid out in Lyme Bay just in front of us.
With the beach literally on our doorstep there are times when only a Mickeys Beach takeaway will do.
Whether it’s our fabulous local beer battered fish and chips, or a burger and fries after an afternoon spent kitesurfing or paddle boarding, Mickeys Beach takeaway is sometimes just the ticket.
Our restaurant is the ideal location to celebrate those special events and occasions, from anniversaries to birthdays and lifetime achievements. We welcome the advance bookings of larger groups and can help tailor any event to ensure that it becomes a truly exceptional day to savour. Our retractable roof terrace can also be hired privately for smaller gatherings.
